The company is still family-owned and operated and now produces more than one million pounds of food a day that gets shipped all over the world. The Beard Cabin was built in 1891 by a woman named Etta Ray and her father who moved to Oklahoma to participate in the Land Run. Later that year she married a man named Henry Beard and they lived in the cabin which was then located at the corner of Kickapoo and Highland. The Beard Cabin has s公司e been moved twice and was restored in 1999. You can now see it at 614 W Main right next to the 圣达菲仓库.

OBU绿色校园 is located on what was the historical campus of Saint Gregory University. This is one of two major university campus locations in 肖尼. Established in the early 1900's by Benedictine Monks the school thrived along with the city of 肖尼. In November 2011 an unusually strong earthquake toppled the 100 year old towers on the corners of the main building. The restoration began very soon afterward and today they retain their historical beauty.
